Yves-Noël Genod propose de travailler à partir de l’impossible. C’est plus facile qu’à partir du difficile. Ce qui est acquis est acquis, n’y revenons pas. Il n’y aura rien à acquérir de plus dans cet atelier, il n’y aura pas d’apprentissage. Directement l’impossible.

Yves-Noël Genod
est né avec le théâtre (il ne sait pourquoi). Il en a toujours fait. En tout cas, à l’âge de commencer à organiser des choses (l’âge de raison), il a été metteur en scène, manipulant, l’été, dans des cosmogonies, ses cousines et ses cousins. Contes et légendes. Le théâtre de sa mère. Adolescent, il a déserté l’école, inévitablement, et n’a plus fait que du théâtre. Après avoir accompagné Claude Régy puis François Tanguy, il a traversé toute l’avant-garde de la danse et de l’improvisation dansée de la fin du vingtième siècle. Immense période de formation. C’est donc en connaissance de cause qu’il revient maintenant à Hollywood et à Picasso.
